There has been a church on the same site in the Village for over 1,000 years, and although the present building only dates from 1870, fragments of its history can still be seen inside.

More information about the Church of St Andrew, St Nicholas with the Blessed Virgin Mary, its History and the artefacts inside can be found in the excellent Burton Pedwardine Church History written by the local Vicar and Church Warden.

Details of the handwritten Roll on Honour for the 1914-18 War that is displayed inside the Church and the private memorial to Thomas Goy who served in the war can be found on the Roll of Honour website.

Sunshine Service

A power cut meant the morning Sunday Service on 29th March relocated outside. Fortunately for everyone, it was a beautiful spring morning.

Harvest Supper 2009

The Harvest Supper was another huge success and the food and company wonderful.  Almost £850 was raised towards the general maintenance of the Church building. Some work is needed on the roof and we have some unwanted guests in the fabric of the building that need to be evicted. Many thanks once again to everyone who helped in many different ways, especially those that took time off work to get everything ready.

There is generally a service on the fourth Sunday in the month at 9.30 a.m.  All are sure of a warm welcome!
